The town of Samos is located 32 km from O Busto via mountain tracks or 55 km via A Pobra do Brollón. It is a municipality in the province of Lugo, which belongs to the region of Sarria, a mandatory stop on the French Way of Saint James. A natural environment presided over by the Sierra de Oribio and with several ROUTES to explore on foot, in which in addition to the Monastery of San Xulián de Samos, we find churches and chapels (Capela do Salvador ou do Ciprés, Igrexa de San Martiño de Lousada, Igrexa de San Román, Igrexa de Santa María de Montán,…), old manor houses, mills, hill forts (Castro de Formigueiros and Castro da Moura) and caves (Cova Grande and Cova Pequena de Santalla).
